SAKATA INX, JAPANSAKATA INX, a Japanese digital ink manufacturing company intended to expand their business in Bangladesh. The new plant in Meghna Industrial Economic Zone (MIEZ), Narayanganj will produce water based and solvent based flexographic and gravure inks. The manufacturing plant is being constructed on a 20242 SQM land area. The industrial complex will be comprised of nine buildings. The production building is the nucleus of the complex which is complemented by two warehouses as well as the other amenities. Other buildings are office building, utility building, solvent tank, gate house, scrap building etc. The solvent tank area is a restricted zone which has been designed following the legalities of BANGLADESH petroleum act and all the requirements of Fire brigade and civil defense. The utility building works as the powerhouse of the whole complex providing necessary utility supports.

The complex is inside an economic zone. The building codes and requirements of BEZA are meticulously followed to get the approval of authority. 25% of the total land area are kept green to provide a gateway from monotony of the production activity and to ensure a breathing space for the users.
