The client’s requirement was to have a space where they could retreat within a complex, dense and at times chaotic urban fabric of Dhaka. With no site force or prevailing view due to its surrounding development pattern, a grand yet homely entry way is created with some natural element like water cascade and pockets of appealing natural green spaces. Continuous flow of space is revealed through the split ground level and semi basement.
The apartment building is designed to house one family in each level. Top three levels are designed as a triplex for the owner. Each apartment is equipped with four bed rooms and other facilities to compliment their contemporary living standards. The lower level of the triplex is for living, formal dining, kitchen and guest accommodation. The middle floor is for the family bed rooms and living area. The upper floor is for common use like library, theater room and open bar-b-q place. Gardens and terraces have embraced the natural living with cross ventilation and ample of natural light for better living conditions.
