BBMH

BBMH is a hospital of USTC. The current project s extension of existing 300 bed hospital. The 400 bed hospital project is under construction and now in completion stage where the final stage electromechanical works are going on. This will be one of the most modern healthcare facility in Chottogram when completed. The hospital planning is done in such way so that this can serve all kinds of patients according to their financial ability.
The building is a 12 storied building having one basement. The hospital is designed keeping all necessary facilities starting from emergency to the most modern cardiac facility. The hospital has several Operation rooms for doing the operations of Cardiac, Orthopedic, Neuro Surgery, Eye and ENT and General surgery. There is also emergency OT and Gynae OT.
The critical care care unit is fully equipped keeping the provision for General ICU, CCU, PICU, NICU, Neuro ICU, Cath Lab etc. A day care center will be there for the patients taking care on daily basis. There will be general wards for Gents, Ladies and Pediatric. Beside those there will special wards, double shared cabin and single cabin.
The hospital is equipped with central Medical gas pipe line system, centrally air conditioned rooms, separate elevators for patients, doctors and cargo. The hospital is fully supported by standby generators. A separate utility building has been designed and constructed for keeping the all necessary electro mechanical equipments away from the hospital building.
Environmental factors have been taken care of properly. A medical grade ETP is under construction and all other requirements from the authority have been followed.
